Target Information
The bacterium Avibacterium paragallinarum, formerly known as Haemophilus paragallinarum, is the causative agent of infectious coryza (IC) in chickens and other avian species. IC is a bacterial infection that mainly targets the upper respiratory tract in poultry, characterized by symptoms including inflammation, facial swelling, conjunctivitis, nasal discharge, diarrhea, and anorexia.
