Pseudocowpox is an illness caused by the Parapoxvirus, belonging to the Poxviridae family and Parapoxvirus genus. Humans may acquire the virus through contact with livestock afflicted with Bovine papular stomatitis. It is frequently observed among ranchers, milkers, and veterinarians. Pseudocowpox is a global ailment affecting cattle, with symptoms including ring or horseshoe-shaped scabs on the teats, which typically heal within six weeks.
