Target Information

Salmonella Gallinarum and Salmonella Pullorum are specialized strains that lead to fowl typhoid and Pullorum disease, respectively. Pullorum disease are often passed vertically, causing extremely high mortality rates, potentially nearing 100%, in young chickens and turkeys within the first 2 to 3 weeks after hatching.
