Porcine dynorphin B is an endogenous opioid peptide derived from the prodynorphin precursor, which also gives rise to other peptides such as dynorphin A and α-neoendorphin. Dynorphin B acts primarily through the kappa opioid receptor (KOR), a G-protein-coupled receptor that modulates various physiological processes, including pain perception, mood regulation, and stress responses.
