Target Information

Yersinia pestis is a gram-negative, non-motile, and spore-free coccobacillus bacterium, closely related to Yersinia enterocolitica and Yersinia pseudotuberculosis, from which it evolved. This bacterium can infect various mammalian species, including canids, felids, lagomorphs, mustelids, and occasionally ungulates.
