Target Information

Influenza A viruses (IAVs) of the H3 subtype are common in humans, swine, and wild birds. They also lead to outbreaks in horses and are frequently found in domestic birds. In the United States, the H3N2 subtype is one of the most prevalent among domestic swine populations, likely due to the transmission of the human seasonal A(H3N2) virus.
