Target Information

IgG, also known as Immunoglobulin G is the most abundant antibody in serum, and is critical for humoral immunity. IgG plays an important role in opsonizing microbes for phagocytosis and killing, activating the complement cascade, and neutralizing many bacterial endotoxins and viruses. Swine IgG (heavy and light chains) antibody could react specifically with porcine IgG and with light chains common to other pig immunoglobulins.
