BioVenic mouse monoclonal antibody is specific for the Mycoplasma pneumoniae. It was produced in hybridoma and subsequently assessed for purity using SDS-PAGE. It can be applied to ELISA and lateral flow immunoassay to diagnose Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection in ovine, and swine. The clone N08Y487 can be used as capture antibody in the ELISA assay, and the clone N08Y488 can be used as detection antibody in the ELISA assay.

Mycoplasma pneumoniae is a species of bacteria belonging to the genus Mycoplasma. Mycoplasma pneumoniae is typically spread through respiratory droplets. Common symptoms of Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection include cough, fever, headache, fatigue, and sore throat. The infection can also cause chest pain and difficulty breathing.
