It can be applied to ELISA and lateral flow immunoassay to diagnose rotavirus A infection in ovine and caprine. The clone N08Y463 can be used as capture antibody in the ELISA assay, and the clone N08Y464 can be used as detection antibody in the ELISA assay.

Target Information

Rotavirus A has a segmented, double-stranded RNA genome enclosed in a triple-layered protein capsid. While rotavirus A is a major human pathogen, it can also infect animals. Different species of rotaviruses are associated with specific hosts, including humans, pigs, cows, and other animals. Rotavirus A infections typically cause symptoms such as vomiting, watery diarrhea, fever, and abdominal pain.
