Target Information
One of the key impacts of Campylobacter spp. is its role in causing gastroenteritis, often marked by symptoms such as diarrhea, abdominal pain, and fever. Campylobacter spp. is often transmitted to humans through the food chain. Contaminated poultry, raw milk, undercooked meats, and contaminated water sources are common vehicles for the transmission of these bacteria to humans.
