O13H42 monoclonal antibody is specific for Swine Interleukin-1 beta (IL-1beta), also known as leukocytic pyrogen. It was purified by affinity chromatography on Protein G from tissue culture supernatant. It can be applied for Western Blot (WB).

Target Information
Interleukin-1 beta (IL-1beta), also known as leukocytic pyrogen is a member of the interleukin 1 family of cytokines. IL-1 beta is an important mediator of the inflammatory response, and is involved in a variety of cellular activities, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. IL-1 beta can regulate cell proliferation and activity of extracellular matrix remodelling enzymes in cultured primary swine heart cells.
Shipping and Storage
This product is shipped with gel ice packs. It is recommended to store at -20 °C on receipt (up to 12 months).

User Note
- This product should be stored undiluted. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
