Target Information

Macrophage inflammatory protein (MIP-1β), also known as C-C motif chemokine 4 (CCL4) belongs to the CC chemokine family. MIP-1β/CCL4 is chemotactic for monocytes, T cells, and NK cells. Swine MIP-1b induces synthesis and release of other pro-inflammatory cytokines such as interleukin-1 (IL-1), IL-6 and TNF-alpha from fibroblasts and macrophages.
