Target Information

Trichophyton is a dermatophyte filamentous fungus, belonging to one of the three genera of fungi responsible for causing skin diseases in both humans and animals. Certain species, such as Trichophyton mentagrophytes, are zoophilic fungi with global distribution and a broad range of animal hosts, including mice, guinea pigs, kangaroos, cats, horses, sheep, and rabbits.
