Target Information

H5N6, a subtype of the Influenza A virus often referred to as bird flu, has been identified in infected birds, who release the virus through their saliva, mucus, and feces. First detected in poultry in 2013, H5N6 has since spread widely among wild bird populations and poultry worldwide.
