Feline CD5 is a cell surface glycoprotein that is part of the signaling lymphocyte activation molecule (SLAM) family. It is expressed on various immune cells, including T cells and B cells, in cats. fCD5 plays a role in cell-cell interactions and signal transduction, contributing to the regulation of immune responses. fCD5 is involved in the modulation of immune cell activation and function. It can influence the proliferation, differentiation, and effector functions of T and B cells. Additionally, it may participate in the regulation of immune tolerance and the maintenance of immune homeostasis.
