Target Information
Feline panleukopenia virus (FPV) is a highly contagious and potentially lethal virus that primarily affects domestic cats and other felids. The virus targets rapidly dividing cells, including those in the bone marrow, lymphoid tissues, and intestinal epithelium. FPV causes Feline Panleukopenia, also known as feline distemper. It is a severe and often fatal disease, especially in kittens and unvaccinated cats.
