Target Information

T-2 mycotoxin, a type of trichothecene mycotoxin, is a natural mold byproduct of the Fusarium species of fungi and poses a toxic threat to humans and animals. It leads to a clinical condition known as alimentary toxic aleukia and causes a variety of symptoms affecting organs such as the skin, respiratory tract, and gastrointestinal system. This compound is notorious for its lethal and sub-lethal impacts on livestock, and it appears to impair the fertility of ewes, heifers, and bulls.
