Canine coronavirus (CCoV) is an enveloped, positive-sense, single-stranded RNA virus which is a member of the species Alphacoronavirus 1. It's commonly responsible for mild gastroenteritis in dogs and has achieved global spread. The genome of CCoV consists of approximately 30 kilobases of single-stranded, positive-sense RNA.
