Target Information
Bovine respiratory syncytial virus (BRSV) is a significant pathogen affecting cattle, particularly in young animals, causing respiratory diseases. The fusion glycoprotein of BRSV is responsible for the fusion of the viral envelope with the host cell membrane, allowing the virus to enter and infect the host cell. The F protein is highly immunogenic and induces a strong humoral immune response, making it a primary candidate for inclusion in vaccines against BRSV.
