Mouse Anti-Infectious Pancreatic Necrosis Virus VP2 Monoclonal Antibody
Product Overview
BioVenic mouse anti-infectious pancreatic necrosis virus VP2 monoclonal antibody was produced in hybridoma and subsequently assessed for purity using SDS-PAGE. It is used in ELISA and lateral flow immunoassay to detect infectious pancreatic necrosis virus infection in juvenile salmonid. The clone N08Y855 can be used as capture antibody in the ELISA assay, and the clone N08Y856 can be used as detection antibody in the ELISA assay.

Target Information
Infectious pancreatic necrosis virus (IPNV) is a birnavirus that affects salmonid fish species, particularly salmon and trout. The capsid protein VP2 is a structural protein of IPNV and is crucial for the formation of the virus particle. In addition, VP2 is an important antigenic determinant with implications for the development of diagnostic assays and vaccines.
