Mouse Anti-Feline Immunodeficiency Virus Monoclonal Antibody
Product Overview
BioVenic mouse monoclonal antibody is specific for the feline immunodeficiency virus. It was produced in hybridoma and subsequently assessed for purity using SDS-PAGE. It can be applied to ELISA and lateral flow immunoassay to diagnose feline immunodeficiency virus infection. The clone N07Y143 can be used as capture antibody in the ELISA assay, and the clone N07Y144 can be used as detection antibody in the ELISA assay.

Target Information
Feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) is a lentivirus that infects domestic cats, leading to a progressive and chronic immunodeficiency syndrome. It primarily targets the immune system, affecting the cat's ability to mount an effective immune response. FIV is primarily transmitted through bite wounds, and FIV establishes a persistent and chronic infection, with cats entering various clinical stages over time.
