Target Information

Bovine tumor necrosis factor (TNF) is a multifunctional proinflammatory cytokine that plays a significant role in the immune response, inflammation, and regulation of immune cells, cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. Primarily secreted by macrophages, TNF binds to its receptors, TNFRSF1A/TNFR1 and TNFRSF1B/TNFBR, and is involved in lipid metabolism and coagulation. It is implicated in the immune response to various infections, including bacterial, viral, parasitic, and certain fungal infections, as well as in the necrosis of specific tumors.
