Target Information

Citrobacter freundii is a facultative anaerobic, Gram-negative bacterium belonging to the Enterobacteriaceae family, which includes 13 recognized species. These rod-shaped bacteria typically measure 1-5 μm in length. While C. freundii primarily inhabits soil, it can also be found in water, sewage, food, and the intestinal tracts of both animals and humans.
